I’m the girl who relies on her phone for pretty much everything. Want to know the weather? Check my phone. Want to know the traffic? Check my phone. Want to know the time. You know the drill…check my phone. I went through a period of time in the past where I wore a watch, but I used the watch more as an accessory than a timepiece. What this means is that if someone asked me the time, I’d probably check my phone…not my watch. Or if before I had a phone, I’d look for the nearest clock. Suffice to say, watches and I didn’t mesh well. Then I came across Lumtec watches and decided to amend this relationship and make it work.
Lumtecwatches have a trademark illumination system, much like a phone, that is so bright you will never be squinting to see the dull green glow of most watches that illuminate. They also have incredibly strong bands that can handle nearly any lifestyle. The coolest thing about them. All Lumtec watches are numbered limited editions. What this means is that once a certain edition sells out, that’s it. There are no more. You’re an owner of a watch that only a certain few have. As a quirky individual who thrives on the unique, this was the sell for me. I wear my Lumtec watch proudly and I actually remember to check my watch for the time, rather than my phone.
